Biography
Dr. Trevor Bouck is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with specialized expertise in sports medicine, shoulder care and general orthopedics. He treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries, with a focus on helping individuals return to the activities they enjoy through both surgical and non-surgical solutions.
He chose medicine for the balance it offered between science and human connection. Orthopedics gave him the opportunity to pair that foundation with mechanical problem-solving to restore quality of life.
Dr. Bouck completed his fellowship at the University of Texas Health in Houston and his orthopedic residency at the University of Toledo Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from UT Health San Antonio and holds a bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Brigham Young University.
A lifelong athlete himself, Dr. Bouck understands the physical and emotional challenges of being sidelined by injury. His clinical interests reflect his personal passion of an active lifestyle. He is committed to evidence-based care, precise surgical techniques, and a patient-first approach. He serves in team coverage roles for Argyle High School and the University of North Texas. He trained with the following professional and collegiate teams; University of Houston Cougars, Houston Rockets and Houston Texans.
Raised in McKinney, Texas, Dr. Bouck was drawn back to the region because of the community’s values of humility, kindness, and genuine connection. He felt an immediate bond with his colleagues at Orthopedic Associates and knew the group’s collaborative spirit was a perfect match for how he practices medicine.
Dr. Bouck believes in tailoring care to the patient’s goals. Whether someone seeks reassurance or in-depth guidance, he strives to make sure they feel heard and understood.
Outside of work, Dr. Bouck enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons. When he carves out a little time for himself, he enjoys playing high-handicap golf and staying active in the gym.
