Emily Davenport is an Orthopedic Physician Assistant to Jeffery Cantrell, M.D.  She grew up in Argyle and graduated from Texas Wesleyan University.  There she received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Sports Studies and also played collegiate softball.  She received her Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  She did a one-year Orthopedic Physician Assistant residency in orthopedic trauma in San Bernardino, California, and has been practicing orthopedics since 2004.  She became NCCPA (National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants) certified in 2004.  Emily assists Dr. Cantrell in multiple realms of his practice.  Her duties include assisting in surgery, seeing patients in the Lewisville and Flower Mound offices, making rounds on patients in the hospital, and on-call coverage.  She also helps with sporting event coverage for local high schools.  She currently lives in Argyle.  Emily enjoys spending time with her family and friends and attending softball and sporting events.
