Dr. Williamson, a lifelong resident of the Dallas area, graduated from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1969 with a Medical Degree.  He completed his residency program at the University of Texas Medical Branch in San Antonio in 1974.  He was board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Inc. in 1975.  While Dr. Williamson provides general orthopedic care, his specialty interests include sports medicine, knee arthroscopy, and knee ligament reconstruction.  He has performed over 5,000 knee arthroscopies and ligament reconstructions.

Dr. Williamson lives in Corinth.  He has served as team physician for Lewisville High School for 30 years.  His interests include biking, water skiing, fishing, and gardening.
